July Trips

Jason and I have bought our plane tickets for two trips:  Hawaii and Tennessee.  :)

We're going to Hawaii from July 8-15, and then Tennessee from July 21-28.  Hawaii will be a great trip and we're WAY excited to go, and then Tennessee will be pretty much strictly business stuff... finding jobs and a place to live.  We'll also be in Moses Lake for 4th of July weekend... from probably the evening of July 1 to like the 5th or 6th... so we have enough time to come back and get ready for Hawaii. :)  July will be BUSY!

Jason's ETS date to get out of the Army for good is September 3rd, so after that, we'll be headed to Tennessee to start the next chapter of our life together... VERY scary, but definitely exciting.  I'm excited to not have to have my life on hold for the Army.

I went to Kit's police academy graduation yesterday too.  He is now a commissioned King County Sheriff!  Strange to think, but we're all proud of him.

Famous Dave's

Well it's back to Famous Dave's for me.  After not working for a month, I'm absolutely bored out of my mind at home, and none of the retail places are calling me back like they said they would, so I just went to Famous Dave's today and asked for my job back.  They wanted me to start TONIGHT but I can't because I have an FRG meeting to go to on base... get to learn about Jason coming home!

So yeah, I'm employed again, even if it is at a place that I just have to swallow my pride and go back to... money is good and needed these days.

Thought I'd start one...

I've decided to start a blog for Jason and me.  With everything that's going to be changing in the next 6 months and so on, I think this will be a pretty good way to keep in touch and keep people updated about what's going on.  Don't expect me to update this every day, but I should be able to update it pretty regularly, or at least when something major happens. ;)  We'll see how it goes.
