March Madness!

We have had some crazy weather this March.  We went from needing sweats and warm clothes...
...to decent park weather as long as a jacket was handy... and even times when we could take the jacket off.
Since the weather warmed up, we decided to take a trip to the park.  Ruston LOVES being outside, so the park was good fun for him, and I had to literally carry him kicking and screaming back to the car in order to leave! Haha.... poor kid.
He really enjoyed swinging, would ask to get out, and then as soon as I would set him on the ground, he would ask to get back in the swing. :)
He also had fun running around on all the toys and dirt... dirt is good fun for a boy!

I think he could very well be a model someday. :)
Lastly, our weather went clear to the point of shorts and sandals.  Unfortunately, Ruston was refusing to look at the camera that day!
So I caught him in the car when he didn't have much choice but to look at me! :)  This was also one of the few times he actually kept his hat on!
He really looks like a big boy in this picture... makes me sad because he's grown SO much!  LOVE HIM THOUGH!!

17 months old!

We have a HAPPY kid!  17 months old, and I had to try to get him to sit still again!

I think this one is the best one, his newest favorite thing to say is "chtee" (cheese).  That's what he's doing here in this picture.
I tried to get one last good one, but instead Ruston decided to swat at the dog... oh well! lol

My New Adventure!

I couple days ago I decided to start a new adventure. I became an independent consultant for ThirtyOne Gifts. Here I am with my pretty pink box, aka my enrollment kit!
For those that are not aware of what ThirtyOne is, we are a direct sales company (much like Mary Kay, Scentsy, Pampered Chef, etc) that do home parties, but we sell purses, bags, totes, baskets, and other similar products. I am quite drawn to these things because they are mostly reasonably priced, and you can have stuff embroidered to your liking as well. I also like the idea that many of the bags and totes are multi-purpose, and already have ideas for different uses for them in my home!
The name ThirtyOne comes from Proverbs 31:31, which states "Honor her for all that her hands have done, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate." ThirtyOne is all about celebrating, encouraging, and rewarding women, through gift giving and owning one's own business as well. SO, with these things in mind, I decided to branch out and begin in this venture. Although I am great at talking to people, I sometimes find it difficult to directly ask others to do things for me (such as host parties), but I am learning how to do it without feeling pushy. I am hoping this will bring in a little extra money to our home in order to have some much needed family time, such as flying to Washington this summer.
That being said, if you feel like you want to help me out with my new venture, feel free to stop by my webpage online, view the catalog, and place an order if you like. You may also contact me directly if you want to order. ;) Thanks in advance! www.mythirtyone.com/rkemp
