At his 6 month appointment, he was 21.4 pounds (95%), 27 inches (75%), and his head circumference was 18 inches (95%). We have a short chubby kid... but still pretty proportionate, and I'm sure once he gets moving well he'll even out! He was a complete trooper when it came to his shots... didn't even notice the first one, and screamed for the last two, but as soon as I picked him up, he stopped screaming. :)Along with the a half a year old comes the great event of first foods! It didn't take Ruston long to figure out what a baby food jar is good for.
His first taste of food... which I believe was bananas. So far the only thing he's not a fan of was the beef and beef gravy baby food, which I can't really blame him for... the texture is horrendous! Don't worry, although he is getting baby food, it's mostly because I had coupons for them... I am working on keeping the jars and making my own baby foods, as well as attempting to let him feed himself some, although he hasn't gotten anything into his mouth on his own yet!
Hard to see, but there are bananas all over my face...
Cheerios are fun too, although I have yet to get them in my mouth on my own. All mommy or daddy has to do is say "Cheerio?" and hold it in front of me, and I open my mouth wide with excitement, although this one got stuck...
I think this is some applesauce.
I just realized I haven't had the camera out with many of the veggies, but he has had bananas, sweet peas, frozen peas, green beans, carrots, sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes (courtesy of Nanny Cindy), prunes, applesauce, pears, and combos of those with rice cereal as well. 
Still more to come... happy half birthday chunky butt!! :)

Carrots are awesome... so much so that I get them in my hair (the little bit of hair I have). I definitely got a bath after this feeding!!
