In true US Army fashion, we finally had our Redeployment Ceremony (aka welcome home for all the brigade) on July 1. Here are some pictures from the ceremony.
This is Jason's battalion (1-38) marching to their spot.

Before "uncasing" the flags. Notice the "pole" on the left that looks like a wrapped up flag... it is. When they deploy, their colors get cased, and when they come home, they get uncased. All the flags were cased at this point except the US flag, which never gets cased for obvious reasons.

Here are the flags right after they were uncased. The 4th Brigade one is the one up next to the US flag, then you have all the battalion flags behind that. 1-38 is one of the blue flags on the left... I think the second one in from the left. All the flags have ribbons on them of every battle that unit has ever been in.

Here is the 1-38 flag, the 4th Brigade flag, and the US flag together.

In all, it was a good day for the ceremony. The day before was HOT, and it cooled down a bit for the actual ceremony, so that was good because it was a bit lengthy. VERY touching and saddening to see the wounded guys that came back to stand in formation with their comrades.
Welcome home guys!
