Washington Firsts

When Ruston first met Uncle Ben, Uncle Ben decided Ruston needed to head out for a four wheeler ride as soon as possible! Unfortunately, the four wheeler seat was a bit hot, so that's why Ruston's a bit crooked, but so thoughtful of Uncle Ben to make sure Ruston didn't get burnt! I think Ruston was trying to figure out what was going on too!!! Ruston's first four-wheeler ride:
We also got the chance to meet Gavin Root, son of Laura and Matt, both of whom I went to school with. Gavin is all of 5 days older than Ruston... and such a little ham! Sadly, this is the ONLY picture I have of them lol (see Gavin in the background?). Yes, Gavin has A TON of hair, as well as 6 teeth... and at the time of this photo, Ruston still had ZERO!
Ruston even had to help Grammie with the dishes. This isn't exactly a "first", but a first to help Grammie. He LOVES things on wheels, and kept pushing the rack in and pulling it out as hard as he could. This kid is STRONG!
First time in a swing... in Washington. He loves the swing... grinned like this the whole time.

Cuddling up to Grammie. Although this wasn't the first time meeting Grammie, it's still a cute picture. :)
One of the first times Ruston sat at the table without an actual high chair. He was mid-bite. Don't you love that "why are you taking a picture of me in my pj's" look?
This is better... hamming it up for the camera again!
And the last, and probably most important in many of my family's eyes, was the first time seeing a PIG! Ruston has no shoes that fit him, so unfortunately we couldn't put him on the ground next to them, but he was happy with looking at them from the safe arms of Grammie!

When Grammie finally tried to get Ruston close to possibly touch one, Ruston leaned back... can you tell in this picture? :)
Next time we're in Washington I'm sure he'll enjoy these things MUCH more, and maybe even remember them. :)
